KBT, Inc. was incorporated in 1978 by the Kirk family as an extension of Kirk NationaLease.  The company was initiated to cover additional loads that Kirk NationaLease leasing customer were unable to handle for various reasons. From that point the company has developed and grown into a formidable, largely dedicated freight carrier specializing in dry van freight.  KBT, Inc. operates in the 48 contiguous United States.

Today, KBT, Inc. has 31 units in its’ fleet and is growing.  Our services include general freight hauling, a brokerage division, warehousing and consulting, and many dedicated carriage contracts.

KBT, Inc. employs 36 office personnel and drivers at our locations in Sidney, Ohio and Plymouth, Indiana.
